Filming Day Three- tunnel
As we had planned to film again in order to add diversity to my video, I arranged for us all to go to a tunnel that I had seen before when exploring the lake next to Kings Mill Hospital. I thought that this location fit the codes and convention of the rock genre perfectly as there are lots of walls full of graffiti, and I could also try to emphasise the colours of the graffiti in my editing in order for them to stand out even more. Although I had checked the weather and seen that it was going to be cold and raining, I still Intended to film because I would be inside The tunnel and the weather wouldn't affect my shots.
I needed to capture a close up of my guitar player for the guitar solo section of my song, as well as both of my band members playing/ singing to the second verse of the song from three different distances from the camera.

Second day of filming- Narrative
The second day of filming was located in a forest near the polo bridge in Kirkby-In-Ashfield. Before filming I had checked the weather to find Light rain and low temperatures, however because of all the trees I found that we didn't get hit by the rain. There were no props needed when filming apart from the narrative costumes. The only problem that I encountered was lighting as because I was using natural light it was a race against the clock in order to have the same lighting within every shot. I found that the last shots that I filmed had a cool blue tone to it because of the winter sun, however I found this extremely effective and decided that I would play around with colour correction whilst editing to create the same effect on all of my shots.

First day of filming
The schedule for today's filming was to focus on the performance element of my music video this was to ensure that if for some reason my narrative didn't work within my video I still had enough footage to use to create a music video.
Today I mainly focused on lighting and framing within my video, in order to create a distinct difference between each band member and their lighting colour of choice.
In order to add the 'Rock' element throughout the song I used props like bandannas and costume. I wanted to use my bandannas to also convey the same message as the lyrics of the song, that's why using them as a blindfold fit perfectly, as you are closing your eyes and blindly following a faith you don't believe.
I also attempted to create a pull focus shot whilst using the lights, this was challenging because the different colours make it hard for the camera to focus. To fix this I changed the camera to manual focus and focused each person one at a time in order to figure out where they need to stand.
The next time I film I want to focus on my narrative so that I can see what other sections of the song I need to fill with footage.
